Dale Gary

Dale Gary was formerly a Distinguished Professor of Physics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Director of the Expanded Owens Valley Solar Array radio facility, which he designed and built.  His Ph.D. Degree is in AstroGeophysics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  His research interests include high-energy particle acceleration in the Sun and stars, understanding the magnetic field and plasma environment in solar flares and active regions, and the impact of solar radio events on Space Weather.  Dale Gary is a Fellow of the American Astronomical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
