AURA is pleased to announce that we have appointed David Cox as the AURA Senior Human Resource Manager. David will oversee all human resource activity within AURA NSF funded operations. David will be relocating from Bristol, Connecticut where he served as Senior Human Resource Manager at Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group. Previously, he served as HR Manager at Columbia University.
David brings extensive experience to AURA in many critical areas of human resources including management and leadership development, employee benefits, organizational change and labor relations. David will join us on September 26, 2011 and will be based in Tucson, Arizona, although he will spend time at each of the AURA operating centers.
As of October 1, 2011, the current individual Human Resource departments at each of our NSF funded centers will be consolidated into a single corporate office function reporting to David. Human Resource staff will remain at each AURA site. The consolidation of the human resource services will allow for a more efficient use of resources, improved services and the opportunity to leverage the best practices at each center for the maximum benefit to all employees and managers.
