Today, the National Science Foundation approved AURA's request to appoint Todd Boroson as Interim NOAO Director. The NSF expressed their strong enthusiasm for the appointment. In conveying it's approval, Tom Barnes also said "I want also to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Dr. Jeremy Mould for his service as Director of NOAO. Dr. Mould served NOAO and the astronomical community ably as Director of NOAO. I wish him well in his return to research."
